Pre-Registration
Once you and your physician have agreed upon the procedure that is right for you, your day of surgery at the Crown Valley Outpatient Surgical Center will be scheduled.
- While meeting with your physician, he or she will review your health history, medical condition, procedure details, expected outcome, as well as important recovery steps.
- At this surgery center in Orange County, an administrative assistant will present a consent form that you will sign, as well as other necessary paperwork, including billing.
For some special patients, your physician may require medical testing within one week of surgery to determine your detailed state of health, which will inform some surgical procedures. Be sure to provide information about your current state of health, medications and supplements. Another member of the medical support staff will review with you what to expect on your surgery day. He or she may also review post-operative care instructions and will provide written content that covers this information.
Some pre-registration consultations may take place over the telephone, depending upon the procedure, physician and patient.
