Christopher Nolan, M.D. is a diplomat of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. He specializes in cosmetic surgery, but also many other areas of plastic surgery including reconstructive surgery. Board certification in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery was obtained in 1987. He has been in solo private practice in South Orange County since 1984.
He attained a Bachelor of Science degree at Loyola University, School of Science and Engineering in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Nolan received his medical school education at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, graduating in 1977.
Dr. Nolan served a General Surgery residency including a year as Chief Resident at UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA. Formal Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery training was accomplished at the University of Florida, where he was also Chief Resident. Part of this training involved lab research in wound healing, graft physiology and laser interactions.
Dr. Nolan holds professional memberships in the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The California Plastic Surgery Society, the American Medical Association, the California Medical Association, the Orange County Medical Association, and the Orange County Society of Plastic Surgeons.
